the direction of this page

i have lodane.com for "professional" (vocational) stuff, so this page (lodane.neocities.org) is the avocational stuff. the hobbies. the fun. the work i do because i like it.

right now that's probably gonna mean a bit of game modding... 
specifically, The Sims 2 and Baldur's Gate 3
(along with my usual suspects of BioWare/Obsidian games)

i will also do some writing, at some point, about what... well, some of the above, certainly, but i always have other topics on my mind as well.

for ease, i'm transformed the few updates that were on this page into a blog format. there will be standalone pages as well (like tumblr has).

there's an RSS feed, if you're into that.

this page will likely act partially as a mirror for other social media site updates (e.g., i post nerdy stuff at lodane.tumblr.com and sims stuff at lodane-sims.tumblr.com) but since i don't trust any site to continue existing, i'm making this... and if neocities  (godbeings forbid!) implodes, it'll be ok... this site is made on my pc, and is portable. i can put it somewhere.

i will likely also be transforming my digital garden into something on this domain. i don't hate notion, but i'm not in love with it anymore. i think i'd rather just have my own stuff where and how i can control it. this site can display "date modified" which is really useful for that purpose.

real subdirectories might happen at some point for bigger pages. idk.
