UPDATED: 01/21/2006: Uploaded MQ_Resurrect-O-Nomitron_Bank.zip, this is the updated version of Monique's Resurrect-O-Nomitron from here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=80256 which I added a new feature "Call Grim Reaper.../Bank Account" that would allow your sims to call Grim Reaper and access or withdraw dead sim's bank deposit account.

That's a trip, huh? I've tried to tell everyone, but it hasn't really made the rounds for some reason. Even the most trusted guides about Monique's Hacked Computer fail to mention this. I'm hoping this makes it harder to ignore.

So, I cloned the Pets+ version of that Resurrect-O-Nomitron (and reduced it down to the account retrieval purpose, it did other stuff that i haven't personally tested and were unrelated). I wanted an item that made some kind of sense in a banking environment, but there's only so much that could be done with this item before breaking it... I tried a few filing cabinets before this, but I couldn't get any of them to work out. so, I removed all the VFX/SFX, and put the phone on a safe. 👍

Ben Bananas has an account, but dies unexpectedly.
Barb Bananas is able to go to a bank to use the inheritance phone.
Barb Bananas is also able to use the inheritance phone from home.
This item is based on the Resurrect-o-Nomitron, but doesn't interfere with actually resurrecting your loved ones... even after use!

I started working on this, like, 2 years ago. The version I had made in 2024, upon revisit, was terribly broken... but I've learned a lot since then so I was able to redo it. I've tested it. It works. It doesn't throw errors... but, y'all, maybe this should be considered "in Beta?" Monique's accounts have years of testing, but it seems like this item has been completely ignored for two decades... so, I don't know. 🤷‍♀️

Credits: Monique for the original Hacked Computer, Safe mesh was stolen from Cashcraft, and I used their OG texture (+Simlish) to make a recolor. That is to say, it's recolorable. It's also visible in hood view, if that's important to you. Available on Residential and Community. Catalog under "Electronics / Misc" for $0.
